I've been back for two days, I feel weird. Happy to be home with family. Sad that I left the beautiful city Lisbon. Sad that it is more than 20 degrees colder here. Happy to see friends and pickup normal life. I don't know what I should feel. The last weeks in Lisbon were amazing. I finished all my courses with around 15. Transformed to Tilburg University a 15 will be an 8, so I am satisfied. The last weeks I was more on my own, since a lot of friends already left. But that gave me more inner peace. I could visit the districts, museums that I didn't visit before.
I visited with the Gulbenkian museum with a Suisse friend Deborah. This museum is about a businessman that collected an incredible amount of art and paintings during his life. From Rembrandt's to Persian carpets, everything. I can also recommend to visit the district Estrela, The Jardim the Estrela and the church opposite to this garden are amazing. Furthermore, I visited the thief market in Alfama. An interesting name for a market, and it gives you a strange feeling when you visit this ages old twice weekly market. 
thanks to Facebook, I had over 25 goodbye parties during the last weeks. everybody partied harder and drunk a little bit more. I surfed a few times and took my board back home as a memory for the rest of my life.
During my exchange, I was with two girls. Paola from Milan, and Katarzina from Warshaw. Both, totally different but so sweet. To Be honest, I fell totally in Love with Paola and the Italian culture. Beautiful, caring and funny people. Now it feels like I left really good holiday loves. But, I'll get over it.
The last days I relaxed in the sun at the wonderful viewpoints that are all around the city. It was still possible to sit in the sun and enjoy music, whine and conversations with friends. Now, back in Holland, the temperature is minus 7. What a difference!
To be honest, I had a perfect exchange but I think if you really want to integrate in the Portuguese community it was a little bit too short. I will visit Portugal many times in the future and you'll never no, maybe I will build a life in Lisbon. This city meets all my needs!
