Hey everybody!
It has been a long time since I wrote to you.
I have been here for a month now and all I day did was celebrating the fact that I still have holidays. Which means, travelling, sightseeing and partying. For everybody coming to Ireland, I would recommand this. First and foremost, because finding an apartment is not always an easy task. It might take a week or two. In my case this was three days, but that was an exception. The second reason I would do this, because al your schoolmates have already started class back home, you might as well enjoy your time exploring the country and its culture you will experience. The final reason, is that it is a good way to get to know your way around the city.
The past week I had my introduction week! Which was extremely fun! Introduction is a huge event at trinity, there are parties everywhere, societies all over the place and a whole lot of students to meet. Another piece of advice, there are no real introduction groups, so please find some students through facebook you can hang out with and then the other students will come via via. Since everybody is really open to meeting new people.
Next week, the real college life starts and since I had a lot of free time and partying, I am actually looking forward to studying, which never happend to me before! that is a good sign. (it would have been nice, if it would have come earlier, since I am already behind on my long distance courses, but that will hopefully sort itself out)
I also joined the ladies rugby team. For the people who don't know me: I am the most a-sportive person in the world, and I found it an accomplishment that I even didn't forget to pack my sportclothes, because I really never wear them:P. So rugby will be a challenge.
I will probably survive! (hopefully)
In two weeks I will try to write some more about the first weeks of class, this is ofcourse when I survive my rugby practice!
