It is already Monday, we had to make a case for strategic again. After this we just have 2 to make. Luckily I thought I didn’t do it that bad :) after our classes we went for the last day with the parents of Jasper to see some more things. We went to the new part of Madrid. We had a nice lunch and after we went to palacio de cristal where seemed to be a bohemia garden. Unfortunately this one was closed on Monday so we went to the apartment of Jaspers parents to have a nice drink and talk a bit more. That night we had a good bye dinner at vivares 37. Also this is a very nice restaurant where you can get very nice 3 course menus. For 12,90 you get bread , wine, and a menu. I took the salad with salmon and asperses. After I had a nice fish with fries and as a dessert an tart of the house. After a nice last walk around the city alongside the chic hotels we had to say goodbye.
Tuesday I had a bad head ach so I stayed at home. Later I had to make another case for human recourse management and to learn for a test.
Wednesday we had a final discussion with our landlord since still everything wasn’t arranged well yet. Now finally it is arranged but guys one tip, always arrange everything very well before and even if they are very nice for you, when you have problems with them they won’t be nice anymore so make sure you first read the contract and then sign. Be aware that here in Madrid the gas water and light are often not included but that they are not always very clear about that.
Thursday we had another review test for operations management. I think I made it very good and that is nice since my average is very high for that course. Around a 9.
Also a nice point to mention, my opinion about the courses changed a lot. For example first I thought strategic management was a great course but later it went out that almost everybody only have insufficient grades for the cases ( you have to make 10 of them with is a lot) and we also have a final project where I still have no idea about if I am doing well or not. Even after two appointments with our teacher in his office hours. The topics are quite interesting but I don’t really like the teacher and the course is difficult.
Operations management is the course I like the most I think. The teacher likes me a lot and the course isn’t difficult at all. Maybe that helps a lot, but since I always wanted to be a project manager in the real estate market I loved this chapters a lot. The test are really easy to learn and we know exactly what he want from us.
Human recourse management is also already much better than the first weeks. From the week we had to make the cases it was more interesting. The cases are short to prepare and really nice topics to discuss. The difficulty is that he never post sheets in internet so you have to write down a lot and I don’t know what to expect for the exam but the teacher told us it is not going to be that hard so let’s hope he is true.
My fourth course is Organisational economics. There we have a lot of topics and very various ones so some I like and some I don’t. We had to make a project about a very nice topic and I took us a lot of time but because you may choose your own topic it is nice to do.
Also the review test I made very well, if you always go to class and prepare them it is possible to get high grades for them.
For genesis of the modern firm we only make the exam, if I could change one course this would be this course. We never have to come to class and may just make the exam but to be honest the topics are very not interesting to me ( history of economic ) and I have no idea what to expect for the final exam so I will not recommend this course.

thursday I bought some presents for Sinterklaas since Monday it’s the 5th of December and we are going to play a Sinterklaas- game with our exchange friends. That night we went to our Swedish friends to have a drink and go out after. It was a very nice evening !
Friday I needed to rest a bit, we had a party of our Spanish friend but I felt a bid that I had a flew so I stayed home. Yesterday we had a birthday party of Franziska our German friend. The party was amazing with looping louie and I think this was the best night here until now.
After we went to the Irish pub were we partied a lot more.
Because we ate all our food yesterday evening when we came home we don’t have anything to eat anymore and since the supermarkets are closed now Jasper and I decided that we may go out for dinner tonight.
I am really looking forward. Next week we are free on the 6th and the 8th so also that make it a very nice week. The week after we have our last classes on Monday and Tuesday and then our holiday starts and Jasper and I will go to Porto
That’s what they called good visions !
