Crazy study, great life!

Can’t believe already one month past since my last post. Almost every day I told myself I should write something, but it just ended in doing tons of assignments. I even started to think of myself as Queen’s students instead of an exchanger. Exchange life should be much easier, right?
I do think I should spend a little time talking about study life here. I admit, that Queens’ students are being “intense”, especially commerce students. I’ve heard about this tense study atmosphere in the North America for a long time, but the fact is that, when I see by myself, I was still shocked. I went to Stauffer Library, the largest one on campus (4 floors) on SUNDAY (it’s Sunday! Not even Saturday) to get some of my stuff back from my friend. Well, as what I had experienced in Tilburg, library on Sunday is almost empty, though there might still be some hard-working students. But what I saw here is that, it’s not simply that there are students, the whole library is FULL!!! You can not even find a place to sit!
The same situation came one night when I finished my class at 21:30(can’t understand why they have classes at this time! And I even have a class that ends at 10pmL), I stayed in the library till 22:15 to wait for my bus back home, by the time I left, the library was still full, everybody was reading textbooks, doing assignment. Now, I’ve got used to this, since I’m also among themL. No choice actually, if you don’t study, you never ever gonna finish your assignment. Schedule is completely full and everyday you are expected to finish something. Apart from your lecture time, you will almost likely be filled up with all kinds of your team meetings. I lived through my past 3 weeks like this. Totally exhausted. Even worse. Mid-terms are coming next week plus increasingly more deadlines coming in November. But good news is that my last exam ends 10th of Dec, by then I will be free! So only one and half months to go.
Although study is tough here, travelling makes you forget all of them. I went to Toronto in my first week on a trip organized by the university, it is only one day, but the city is great. A few days after that, the commerce department organized a boat cruise for all exchangers to the Thousand Island, one of the most famous tourist destinations across Canada. Sight views are just amazing!
Two weeks later, still a uni. Trip, we went to the Niagara Falls! As you know, it’s one of the seven wonders worldwide. Well, I better just upload some pics, pictures talk more than words!
